Tina Hay, Napkin Finance founder and CEO, started sketching financial concepts on napkins when she was a student at Harvard Business School, as a way to help her unpack the dense material of her classes. What started as a personal educational tool grew into a library of content—and then into a visual learning movement. Today, our unique Napkins and other content reach more than 80 million households around the world in multiple languages.
We are a Los Angeles-based team of creatives and financial experts, with a range of collective experience encompassing design, investing, technology, education, journalism, and film. While our backgrounds are diverse, what unites us is a passion for creating unique and inspiring visual content.
